The company that made the metaverse battle royale games, Fortnite, Epic Games, Inc., claims that it would not outlaw NFTs like Minecraft.
“You should be free to choose whether to play a game, and game developers should be free to choose how to create their creations. Businesses like retailers and operating system developers should refrain from imposing their opinions on others. On his official Twitter, Tim Sweeney replied to messages from internet users: “We most surely won’t.
“Developers should be free to decide how to build their games, and you are free to decide whether to play them. I believe stores and operating system makers shouldn’t interfere by forcing their views onto others. We definitely won’t”
The Sandbox computer game Minecraft’s creator, Mojang Studios, announced on July 20th that it would not accept NFT integration with the game, claiming the speculative pricing and investing mentality of NFTs and NFT-related frauds violate the game’s rules.
Tim Sweeney addressed the complexity of encryption. Everybody should come to their conclusions, good or bad.

The Epic Games Store declared it would not follow Steam’s lead and would keep supporting NFT Games when it banned NFT & blockchain technology on October 21.
