Danit Peleg, an avid user of web3 and a fashion designer, recently presented her debut line of 3D-printed clothing at the NFT Paris Conference. The outfit was motivated by the 3D NFT community’s Nouns.
Since 2023, when Nounces went live, the Ethereum project has been holding daily auctions to distribute new NFTs.
Also, the profits from the sale of the digital collectible are donated to an intellectual property project that is open source.
At the NFT Paris Conference, which took place on the 24th and 25th of February, the fashion designer showcased her 3D-printed fashion collection.
Speakers at the event included notable figures from new technologies, such as Greg Solano, co-founder of Yuga Labs, and Jonathan Perkins, co-founder of SuperRare Labs.
Other notable speakers included NFT Paris, held at the Grand Palais ΓphΓ©mΓ¨re and attended by thousands of web3 enthusiasts.
Assortment of 3D-Printed Fashion Items Inspired by Nouns
As per Peleg (1), her source of creativity is “everything about Nouns.” She shared with Decrypt that she had concluded that the 3D-printed fashion collection was the most fruitful approach for her to contribute to Nouns.
The NFTs in the profile photo collection and the Nouns brand inspired each of the five different clothes that the stylist wore to the event. The re-creation of the newly minted avatars is one of the components of this puzzle.
In addition, she made her idea of the printed 3D-printed collection a reality by employing various 3D printing technologies. The technologies of Multi Jet Fusion, FDM, and Polyjet were utilized, and these innovations were responsible for the production of smooth samples, accurate parts, and tooling.
Some garments were connected with printed bits, while others featured hinges between the letters that represented nouns.
Her interest was piqued in particular by Noun’s open-source methodology, which grants users access even if they do not possess NFTs.
The Creative Commons o (CCo) model allows anyone, with or without Nouns NFT, to sell or develop label projects.
The renowned fashion designer acknowledged her fascination with the NFT structure of the community as well as the “wonderful” methods in which the organization puts its cash to use.
The NFT community currently holds over 45 million dollars worth of ETH in its treasury, which it has used to fund a variety of projects throughout the course of time.
The group has provided financial assistance for the 2023 Rose Parade, comic books, and television pilots.
Nouns Voted to Give Peleg $140k for her Collection
In addition, it was stated (2) in a proposal by Nouns that Peleg was offered a financial amount of 140,000 Canadian dollars for the 3D-printed fashion line. The financing was allocated across three distinct milestones: development, construction, and presentation.
When asked about developing a relationship of trust with the local population, the fashion designer said:
“I started small, delivered value, and gained support from the community. As trust was established, I was able to get higher funding.”
In 2015, the outstanding fashion designer’s debut collection was a student collection that went viral all over the internet. Peleg engaged in extensive study while earning his degree in design from the Shenkar College of Design.
In the end, she successfully located a laboratory in Tel Aviv, where she obtained information regarding the procedure and conducted several tests.
