Dubai Police Launched Another Set of NFT Collection

According to a local media outlet, the Khaleej Times, the Dubai Police want to roll out the new collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) after the initial lot drew around 23 million people internationally. This comes after the first bunch of NFTs was released.

Late in March, as part of a campaign to highlight the security, innovation, and communication ideals of the Dubai Police Department, the first NFTs were distributed to the public. As per the news article, they consisted of 150 different free digital assets.

The authority made the decision to release the second batch after it received an enormous response of at least 7,000 direct messages across all of its social media sites.

In his power as Director General of the Artificial Intelligence Department at the Dubai Police, Khalid Naseer Al Razooqi made the following observation:

“All participants were asked to validate their digital wallet addresses, and those who satisfied the conditions were shortlisted in a raffle draw. A total of 150 people were selected as winners, and they were awarded the Dubai Police digital assets at no cost.”

The Dubai Police, which is the first governmental agency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to create its digital content, plans to roll out the 2nd NFT collection during GITEX 2022, which is scheduled to take place in October. This is part of the department’s continued effort to improve the quality of police work.

The initial launch attracted the greatest number of online interactions possible from participants in India, the United States of America, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia, as well as the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Al Razooqi made the following points:

“NFT is a unit of data that is maintained on a certain kind of digital ledger known as a blockchain, and each and every NFT is a unique copy in and of itself, having complete information on the date of creation and owner. The information pertaining to NFTs that is recorded on a blockchain cannot be altered or duplicated.

Meanwhile, a recent survey performed by Forex Suggest identified the United Arab Emirates as one of the top nations that are prepared for cryptocurrency.

The United Arab Emirates tied for fourth place with Georgia, Romania, and Croatia after each received a score of 6.2/10. After receiving a score of 8.6/10, Hong Kong was placed in the first place.
