Ripple Signs Partnership With Children’s Charity Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)

Ripple Labs, a firm that specializes in real-time remittances and gross settlements, just made the announcement that they will be partnering with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity for the next two years.

According to a statement (1) that was delivered by Sendi Young, Ripple’s Managing Director of Europe, the cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) will be supervised by the funds that were provided by Ripple.

As a result of the partnership, GOSH Charity will take on the role of a major nonprofit partner for Ripple in the United Kingdom.

Ripple Charity and the GOSH Foundation

“We are thrilled to be announcing our partnership deal with GOSH Charity, which fundraises for GOSH, which is recognized as one of the premier children’s hospitals in the world. We cannot wait to provide our support to the important work that they are doing.“

According to Sendi Young, Ripple’s Managing Director for Europe,

“We are convinced of the ability of blockchain technology for bringing about meaningful change, and this collaboration is a perfect example of how we’ll use our assets to provide tangible benefits to children at GOSH and their families.”

Ripple is a company that believes in the power of blockchain technology for bringing about positive change.

According to reports, the beginning of the relationship between GOSH Charity and Ripple will take place at the same time as the 2023 TCS London Marathon, for which GOSH Charity will serve as the official Charity of the Year.

As a result, GOSH Charity & Ripple will provide their support to around 1,000 GOSH runners in their efforts to raise millions of dollars for the cause of combating children’s cancer. It is important to note that the TCS London Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Following a distance of approximately 26.2 miles, participants will be able to enjoy a post-race reception hosted by GOSH Charity, which will be sponsored by Ripple.

“Our new cooperation with Ripple is exciting news for us, and we couldn’t be happier about it. The funds that are raised will go toward cancer care at GOSH, which will assist children with cancers that are uncommon and difficult to cure.

The relationship will have a significant influence on the lives of chronically sick children in the United Kingdom and worldwide, according to Sarah Bissell, Deputy Director of Relationship Fundraising at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children Charity. Some transformative projects are in the works.

Ripple and the Prospects for the XRP Market

As a result of the news, as well as other fundamental considerations, the value of Ripple’s XRP has increased by more than 20 percent in the previous 24 hours, and it is currently trading at roughly $0.46.

The price of XRP has increased the most in the previous twenty-four hours among the top ten digital assets in terms of market capitalization. Cardano (ADA), which has gained nearly 10 percent in the same time period, is closely followed by XRP.

The rise in the price of XRP has caused people in the community to guess about future important news, which has likely led to an increase in the demand for ODL. It is important to note that the majority of XRP transactions are conducted by institutional investors.

These users include financial institutions that employ Ripplenet and ODL services. The blockchain payment provider can take pride in over 40 payout marketplaces in ODL, which means that the XRP market has a defined need for cryptocurrency.

Ben Armstrong, the well-known cryptocurrency commentator and creator of BitBoy Crypto, asserts that the price of XRP never spikes so high for no apparent cause.

As a result of this, Armstrong said that there is current information that has not yet been made available to the general public.
